Originally from Apeldoorn, I now call Ede home, where I live with my wife and our two cats, Bilbo and Gilly. Whether diving into machine learning projects, exploring photography, or restoring a 1977 Classic Mini, I always seek new challenges.
Photography
Photography is my way of capturing the world from a unique perspective. Whether it's landscapes, architecture, or our cats, I like shots with a story behind it. You can explore my work on the Photography page.
Tinkering
I find joy in hands-on work, whether it's fixing motorbikes and our old Mini, fiddling with my 3D printer, or experimenting with electronics or computes.
Music
Music is both an escape and an inspiration. From playing the accordion and piano, to appreciating HiRes audio and vinyl records, I just can't be without.
Learning
From exploring new technologies like Django (for this website) or frameworks like ACT (or learning how to build a power amp), to constantly expanding my horizons, I believe in the power of lifelong learning.
Outdoors
Hiking, camping, and road trips — I recharge in nature and love the open road.
